An Auchinleck couple have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
Ronald and Jean McAuley are among a select few UK couples to have reached the milestone - their 'Blue Sapphire' anniversary.
Having tied the knot back in June 1959, the happy couple welcomed a special visitor to their home to mark the occasion - fellow Auchinleck resident Claire Leitch, the depute provost of East Ayrshire Council.

She presented the couple with a bouquet of flowers as a small gift from the authority to mark the happy occasion.
