EXCITING plans have been unveiled for a community fun day in Patna this summer - and the organisers of the event have issued an appeal for volunteer support.
The Patna Extravaganza will feature food vendors, a beer tent, a dog show, a fun fair, wall climbing, inflatables, a range of stalls and the Patna Hill Race and much more besides.
Free attractions include face painting, balloon modelling, a chance to meet visiting alpacas and an opportunity to take part in an egg-and-spoon race, sack race, ‘toss the wellie’ competition, a beat the goalie challenge, a tug-of-war and other fun events.
In addition, an ‘unlimited access’ wristband for entry to all the event’s fairground rides and inflatables will cost £12.50.
The event takes place at the Patna football pitches on Whitehill Avenue (postcode KA6 7LY) on Saturday, July 27 from 10am until 4pm.
The Patna Extravaganza Group, who are organising the event, are looking for help from any volunteers who can give up their time to help pull the day together.
If you’re able to offer a helping hand email patnaextravaganzagroup@outlook.com or send a message to the ‘Patna Extravaganza Group’ on Facebook.
