Ayrshire Business Awards extend entry deadline to July 12

The Ayrshire Business Awards' deadline has been extended until 5pm on Friday, July 12.

The awards are part of Ayrshire Business Week, an event organised by the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce which aims to promote and support businesses throughout the region.

The awards present opportunities to make new contacts and celebrate accomplishments across a range of categories, such as Workplace Health, Community Wealth Building, and Business Growth.

Claire Baird, chief executive officer of the Chamber, said: "We’re delighted to be able to offer an extra two weeks for Ayrshire businesses to get their submissions in for the region’s leading awards ceremony.

"This event is a true highlight of the business calendar, attracts high-profile industry support and involvement, and offers Ayrshire businesses the opportunity to promote major achievements and celebrate success.

"In addition to being a great evening, the awards are a great opportunity to network and build contacts.

"I look forward to seeing everyone there."

This year’s awards feature 16 categories, including the newly introduced Innovation Award.

The awards are supported by the main sponsor Business Gateway and Rainton Construction.

All businesses, regardless of the size and sectors, are welcome to participate.

Companies can enter in categories spanning hospitality and tourism, export, innovation, and more.

The awards are free to enter and open to both Chamber members and non-members.

Businesses can apply for up to three categories.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony at Ayr Racecourse on October 4, with Ben Hanlin, magician and presenter, returning as the event's host.

Ayrshire Business Week will start on September 30 and close on October 4.
