Plans have been given the green light to build a home on a narrow Mauchline street.
Developers Axiom Design Services, plan to build the house in the town's Tanfield, just off of Cowgate.
The narrow street currently has a handful of homes on it along with a large open space where plans have been submitted to build the new home.
According to the planning application, the three-bedroom house would also have space for two parking spaces, as well as a garden area to the rear.

The Ayrshire Roads Alliance, which deals with issues on behalf of East Ayrshire Council, had no objections to the proposals.
Planners gave the proposals the thumbs up last week, as two objections were raised against the plans.
One objection said: "The plot is actually the gardens of block of four flats, taking away their outdoor shared space.
"The planning shows knocking down a wall, which is an old sandstone listed wall.
"This isn't ideal either as the lane is a one way single lane which is used daily by pedestrians, particularly schoolchildren and people with buggies, which narrows as lane goes towards that area.
"I can't see how there will be space to manoeuvre two cars in.
"Therefore see this as a road safety issue. The planning shows the two storey new build very close to perimeter of property next door.
"I thought it would need to be at least one metre or more away. This also would cause overshadowing to next doors property being two levels high."

Another objections touches on some of the same issues, adding: "This area has been a garden for the existing building for over 100 years and should remain as such.
"The access to the proposed property is a gravel lane for existing home owners to access their property and also a public pedestrian right of way.
"It is also composed of a soft compound with services underneath.
"Heavy vehicles such as bin lorries and fire engines will not use this due to the risk of damaging underground pipes, which was a great problem when a major fire occurred in one of the houses a few years ago.
"I also believe that the house is too large for this piece of land and should planning be approved, it should be built of red sandstone or similar to match the existing houses in the conservation area".
