Locals flocked to Dalmellington Community Centre at the weekend to enjoy a fabulous tea dance and sing song.

The free event was held on Saturday from 1-3pm, featuring music from Chris. And there was a great turnout from the community on the day.

And it looks as though everyone had a great time, if these photos from the Dalmellington's Community Association's Facebook page are anything to go by.

The tea dance was supported by sponsorship from the 9CC Group, made up of the nine Community Councils in the Cumnock and Doon Valley area.

The community centre's Sharon Rae Smith said later: "Happy times at the Tea Dance today. Great food, great music and great folk. Thanks to all the volunteers for giving up their time, Chris News, Brian Liz and the 9CC Group for funding this popular event."
