Auchinleck's Maggie's Kitchen has been presented with a prize for finishing as runner-up in the Cumnock Chronicle 'best café' competition.
In March, we announced that we were shining a light on the amazing cafes in our local area – and we asked readers to nominate their favourite.
More than 20 businesses across the area were put forward, with Maggie's just being pipped to the title by eventual winners, Gemmell's Garden Centre coffee shop.
Maggie Boyd opened in the café in Auchinleck's Main Street back in February last year.
Since then, it has built up a loyal fan base, selling the likes of filled rolls, breakfasts, cakes and loads more.

Maggie said: "A huge thank for the continued support over the past year. It means a lot to me and my team.
"We have some exciting plans for our future, so we are extremely grateful to our customers who come day in and out to support us.
"I am looking for new suggestions for our menu so anyone with any ideas is more than welcome to give us a message!"
Maggie was presented with a framed certificate as a reminder of the loyalty shown by her customers.
