Cumnock Chronicle: Sorn

Sorn Primary pupils were feeling ‘beret good’ as they hosted their very own French Immersion day. The youngsters took part in a range of games, singing and baking as well as sampling the finest tastes that France has to offer.

Little Callum Bryce was a big winner at an Asda store prize draw. The Cumnock toddler won himself a giant Andrex puppy when he entered a competition that raised cash for Yorkhill Hospital.

The Burns House Museum in Mauchline reopened after being taken over and given a refit by East Ayrshire Council. Local councillors and dignitaries are pictured at the official opening ceremony.


Cumnock Chronicle: St John's

St John’s Primary Pupil Council organised a sponsored ‘Fun Fitness’ event to raise vital cash for playground games. An amazing £994 was collected.
