The home and workspace of two legendary, former Sanquhar butchers is up for sale.
John and William Forsyth took over the Forsyth's butchers, on High Street, which had been in the family since 1936.
Having amassed over 100 years of services in the business, the brothers retired last month, leading to locals of Sanquhar to line the streets to pay their respects.
The shop has been in the family for generations, but it's now looking for its next occupants.
The butchers has been listed for sale, alongside the accompanying three-bedroom home.
Anyone interested in taking on this slice of Sanquhar history is invited to submit offers of £210,000.
Listed on Robert Wilson & Son, a property description says: "[A] Rare opportunity to purchase a property that marries history with modern convenience.
"Nestled in the heart of the Royal Burgh of Sanquhar, this property offers much more than just a home- it's a slice of local heritage.
"The attached former successful butcher shop also opens doors to entrepreneurial ventures or a unique conversion project.
"At the rear of the property a long, sweeping driveway is an imposing feature through around half an acre of immaculately presented garden ground.
"With outbuildings providing additional storage or workshop space, this property is as practical as it is picturesque."
