New Cumnock's historic Afton Cottage has been listed for sale, weeks after plans to demolish it were withdrawn.
An online listing shows that an opportunity to purchase the cottage has now come up.
Plans had previously been lodged, and subsequently withdrawn, to demolish the building and create a new five-bedroom, two-storey house.
The cottage is said to date back centuries, but has been empty for several years, and was previously listed for sale in 2023.

A previously application was approved in March 2022, to extend the first floor, and convert the property into a five-bedroom family home with four public rooms and a home workspace studio/adjacent granny flat.
A description with the sale listing says: "[This is] A great opportunity for a developer or small builder to acquire a sizeable detached building with detailed planning consent for conversion to a well proportioned family home/ workspace.
"The property sits within a sheltered position adjacent to New Cumnock rail station amidst large level grounds and is accessed via a formed driveway.
"This project should appeal to either a small builder or an owner occupier looking to develop their own unique family home with fantastic open views."
The cottage has been listed for sale for offers over £89,995.
