Plans have been submitted to transform a former shop building in New Cumnock.
Proposals have been sent to East Ayrshire Council's planning to change the old shop on Lime Road, which has not been in use for years.
The shop could soon be changed into a one-bedroom home, if plans are approved.
Applicant, Mr Mike Robbins, plans to change the shop space of the building into a lounge and bedroom area.

The shop's old office space would be transformed into a new kitchen area for the home, with a shower room included.
According to the application, work had already started on changing the building, prior to an application being submitted in April 2024.
The application states:" Work started based on acquiring a building warrant in 2016. I believed that planning permission was still in place."
Work initially commenced on the building in 2017, and a decision is expected to be made by councillors in July.
