A street in Auchinleck has temporarily closed today.
The Ayrshire Roads Alliance, which works on behalf of East Ayrshire Council, is carrying out resurfacing on Sorn Road.
Work started today, with a closure in place on the road near the former Auchinleck Academy building, along the B705 road towards its junction with Berryhill Bing, from 8am until 6pm.
The closure will last for a maximum of five days, or until whenever the work is completed.
A closure of the same section of road will be in place from 8am until 6pm on each day of the work.
A diversion is in place via the B705, B713, Newton Street, A76, Mauchline Road, Sorn Road, B705 and vice versa.
