PLANS to transform a former chippy in Catrine have been revealed after the business shut its doors for the final time.
Dino's Café, on Mill Square, closed for business earlier this year after the owners decided to retire.
A sign was posted on the former front door alerting passers-by to the closure.
Now plans have been submitted to East Ayrshire Council (EAC) seeking permission to transform the ground floor of the building and to make it suitable for residential rather than business use.

External alterations to the building are also planned.
Under the proposals, lodged by Munro Architects of Kilmarnock on behalf of applicant Dino Carrino, the doorway that led into the cafe from Mill Square would be blocked up, with the former takeaway area to be used as residential storage.
EAC officials validated the application last month and a decision is expected to be made by June.
