Police in Ayrshire have issued a warning over an increase in fraud involving crypto currency such as Bitcoin.
Fraudsters have been posing as well known celebrities promoting investments with high returns.
Police say that if you receive a message claiming to be from a celebrity asking you to invest money or click a link, you should delete it.
A police spokesperson added: "Do not download any desktop sharing software as this will allow the fraudsters to access your computer and potentially your bank accounts.
