A group of talented youngsters from a popular Cumnock dance school recently made a step up in their ballet journey.
PA Dance Academy, run by Pauline Auld, had 18 pupils who sat their Royal Academy of Dance ballet exams, from primary to inter-foundation level.
A special examiner flew all the way from Madrid to New Cumnock to oversee the examinations.
Unsurprisingly, all the dancers sailed through the exams, receiving results of Merit, High Merit and Distinction, as well as points towards their SQA and UCAS achievements.
The group always comes together to put on a spectacular summer performance, with last year's taking place in front of a bumper crowd in Cumnock.
Pauline says the group is always looking to take on the next talented dancer.
"Classes are open to children from two years and up," she said.
"The classes are held at New Cumnock Town Hall which include acrobatic arts, ballet, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre and tap."
