The team at Logan Pharmacy were rightfully overjoyed this week as they named as the best in the land.
After being nominated for the 'Community Pharmacy of the Year' award at the Scottish Pharmacy Awards, the team went one better and claimed the top prize.
An NHS technician nominated the team for the award due to the service they provide, which was described as "going above and beyond the call of duty".
The pharmacy has grown in popularity over recent years, and has attained a loyal customer base in the area, including having two delivery vans to get people's supplies to them.
Ali Bashir, area manager, told the Chronicle: "The staff knocked their pan in over the last few years, especially since Covid.
"We had our own customers at that point and then we had an influx of people from elsewhere that meant we had to take on and train new staff.
"But we made sure we cared for the people who had been coming to us for years and I think people appreciate that loyalty and showing that we will go above and beyond for them."
Ali added: "It was a tough and stressful time, but they hung in there and did the best they could and I think people recognize the work they put in now.
"I think they’re very good at listening to people and really understanding what people need.
"In a small place like Logan it’s almost even more important to make sure you’re on top of your game because news travels fast around these small villages."
Following a swanky awards night in Edinburgh on Saturday, April 20, the team received the award as the best in Scotland.
Understandably, every member of the team was ecstatic at the triumph.

Ali continued: "They were absolutely delighted when they won the award because it shows their work has all been worth it.
"They’re a brilliant bunch and they know how to deal with people.
"They loved that someone outside of me and the boss had acknowledged that hard work they’ve been putting in and it’s all been worth it.
"For them to win an award that included pharmacies from all across Scotland was quite incredible."
The celebrations won't stop there for the team, as they get ready to celebrate the pharmacy's 15th birthday this June.
