Performers of a Cumnock group have been wowing crowds over the past few nights, with their own showing of a popular romantic musical.
CAMPS Perform MT, part of the Cumnock Arts Makes People Smile (CAMPS) group, have been performing in front of sell-out crowds with their version of Sunshine on Leith.
Following the group's recent rebrand, the performances have been marking a major step forward for those involved in the group, with their final performance due to come.
Although tickets for this evening's show have sold out, there will be plenty to come from CAMPS overall in the coming weeks and months.
The group's creative arts coordinator, Dale Parker, says there to be a new focus on all the other great things happening under the group's umbrella, including its youth musical theatre junior and senior groups, and EduCAMPS, which offers one-to-one instrumental tuition.
CAMPS's centre has also undergone a rebrand, from the Barrhill Centre to Cumnock’s Creative Arts Hub, with many community groups using the hub as their own base.
Who saw our opening night tonight?? Thank you so much to our wonderful audience for coming to our opening night - what...
