A company which supports people in tackling homelessness has pulled out of purchasing an historic hotel in Dalmellington, according to a local councillor.
The Dalmellington House Hotel had been listed for sale last year, having previously served as an elegant five-bedroom townhouse with private gardens.
The listing for the property on Purple Bricks says that the building has been sold.
Doon Valley councillor, Drew Filson has said that Blue Triangle, which offers supported accommodation to people across Scotland, has withdrawn its application to purchase the house.
Blue Triangle operates services in Kilmarnock, as well as in South Ayrshire and across other parts of Scotland.
Cllr Filson said: "Blue Triangle have withdrawn their application and will not purchase Dalmellington House."
