Drop-in sessions will be held this week as part of plans for a wind farm development between New Cumnock and Dalmellington.
South Kyle II Wind Farm would be located on land adjacent to South Kyle Wind Farm, the major project inaugurated by developers Vattenfall last summer.
Plans for South Kyle II Wind Farm were revised from a 17 turbines to nine, and then again to 11.
Developers are now opening up a fresh round of public consultation to gather local feedback prior to finalising the proposal and seeking consent from the Scottish Government.
Public drop-in sessions will be held this week for locals to learn more about the plans, and ask questions about its development.
The drop-ins take place on:
- Tuesday, April 23 from 3.30-7pm at Dalmellington Community Centre
- Wednesday, April 24 from 4-7.30pm at New Cumnock Town Hall
