A new home is set to be built on vacant land near New Cumnock after plans were given the green light.
According to a submission on the East Ayrshire Council (EAC) planning pages, Mr and Mrs Young lodged proposals to build the new home on the open grass, next to existing homes at Dalleagles Terrace.
With the approval, the new home will feature a spacious three-bedroom home with a large kitchen and dining area, four bathrooms and a large garden.

Also included in the plans is a single-storey garage located to the rear of the property.
There is set to be a total of four parking spaces in all, including the accompanying garage.
Plans were submitted to East Ayrshire Council towards the end of the year, with it being given the thumbs up last week.
The planning application states: "The site is currently owned by East Ayrshire Council and offered for sale and has been marketed as a residential development opportunity.
"It is assumed that the lands are currently maintained as an open grass space by East Ayrshire Council."
