A FANTASTIC Cumnock pharmacy team have received much deserved recognition.

The team from Logan Pharmacy had cause for celebration this week after making the shortlist for a top national award.

The team from the Logan Avenue shop have been named among the finalists for the 'Community Pharmacy of the Year' award at the Scottish Pharmacy Awards.

The awards seek to pay tribute to all of those consistently working hard in pharmacies across the nation and the positive impact they have on their patients and peers.

Logan Pharmacy fits the description perfectly with the independently run store playing a major role in the daily lives of locals.

Not only do the team provide exceptional pharmaceutical services, they do their best to give back to those who support them.

As recently as last month the team arranged for the Easter Bunny to visit the pharmacy and hand out some holiday treats to put smiles on many faces.

Their efforts are always well received and many will confirm that any award recognition is well deserved.

The Logan Pharmacy team will find out if they are the overall winners of the award later this month as the finals are held on Saturday, April 20.
