An Ochiltree street is set to be faced with closures for two weeks starting next week.
Ayrshire Roads Alliance (ARA), which deals with road issues on behalf of East Ayrshire Council, will be carrying out work on the village's Main Street.
Carriageway resurfacing is set to be carried on the a section of the road from its junction with the A70, past Ochiltree Primary School, to its junction with Gallowlee Avenue.
Work is due to begin at 8am on Tuesday, April 2 and will completed by Sunday, April 14, according to the ARA website.
ARA says works will be carried out over two phases to minimise disruption, but exact details of those phases have been released.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions, but the order restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
A diversion will be in place via the A70, C124, Main Street and vice versa.
