Members of the New Cumnock Development Trust have visited London for a special event celebrating Scotland's communities.
Four representatives of the Trust headed to Dover House in Whitehall, home of the Scotland Office, following a recent visit to the project by minister John Lamont MP.
The Trust was invited to take part after Mr Lamont was told about its plans to renovate the former Trotters building and bring it back into community use.
A spokesperson said: "Attending this event was an absolute pleasure and a fantastic opportunity for our little village.
"It's truly putting New Cumnock on the map and showcasing what can be achieved even in small communities."
Plans have been approved for a new community café, pop-up shop, flexible craft rooms, craft store and office space at the building.
The project has been funded by the Scottish and UK Governments, East Ayrshire Council, Inspiring Scotland and the community benefit funds for the Afton and Hare Hill wind farm projects.
