Two children were injured in apparent dog attack which lead to one woman being charged, according to police.
Officers responded to reports of three children, aged 10, being attacked by a dog - believed to be an XL bully - in Logan on Wednesday evening.
Two of the 10-year-olds suffered minor injuries, but didn't require medical treatment.
Eye-witnesses claim that police and members of the community could be seen trying to track the dog down, following the incident on Holmhead Crescent.
The dog was later seized and a 34-year-old woman was charged in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed: “Police received a report of a dog having attacked three children in the Holmhead Crescent area of Logan around 7.10pm on Wednesday, March 13.
“Two 10-year-old children sustained minor injuries which did not require medical treatment.
"The dog has been seized and a 34-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the incident. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
