One of the main roads running between Cumnock and Ayr is set to be closed off this weekend.
A section of the A70 in Ochiltree is set to be closed once again as anti-skid and white lining work is set to take place on a stretch of the road in the village's Burnock Street.
Around 400 metres of the street, between Burnock Street and Mill Street, is due to be shut off.

A diversion will be in place via the A70 towards Cumnock, the A76 to Auchinleck,the C62 and then the B7036 towards Ochiltree, and vice versa.
According to the Ayrshire Roads Alliance, which carries out work on the area's roads on behalf of East Ayrshire Council, a closure is due to be in place between 8am and 5pm on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17.
The notice says that the days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
