A LORRY driver from Mauchline was four times the cocaine limit while in charge of a heavy goods vehicle, according to prosecutors.
Paul Milgrew is said to have driven the Renault truck on Sir Michael Street, Greenock, on September 3, 2022 while he was under the influence of the class A drug.
It is claimed that the 29-year-old had 211 microgrammes of benzoylecgonine - the main metabolite of cocaine - per litre of blood in his system.
The legal limit in Scotland is 50mcg/litre.
A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for March 19 at Greenock Sheriff Court, but Milgrew's attendance at the hearing has been excused.
