A TEENAGE pupil involved in a "disturbance" at a school in Cumnock last week will be the subject of a youth justice assessor report, police have confirmed.
We reported on Thursday how the 14-year-old girl was taken to hospital following an incident at the Barony Campus in Cumnock just after 2pm on Thursday, February 29.
Officers said that the pupil was "causing a disturbance", as multiple police cars were spotted at the Cumnock campus.

The girl was taken to Crosshouse Hospital to be checked over as a precaution.
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “Around 2.25pm police were called to a report of a 14-year-old girl causing a disturbance at a school in Auchinleck Road, Cumnock.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“A 14-year-old girl will be the subject of a report to the youth justice assessor in connection with the incident.”
The Scottish Government website states that youth justice focuses "on tackling the causes of offending by young people and supporting them to change their behaviour, with the aim of avoiding them entering the criminal justice system."
An East Ayrshire Council spokesperson said the authority would not be providing any comment on this incident to protect the privacy of the individual concerned.
