A teenage girl was taken to hospital this week following a "disturbance" at a school in Cumnock, police say.
Police cars and officers were seen outside of the Barony Campus in Cumnock just after 2pm on Thursday, February 29.
According to officers, a 14-year-old girl was causing a disturbance at the school.

The girl was later taken to hospital to be 'checked over' as a precaution. Enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.25pm on Thursday, 29 February, 2024, police were called to a report of a 14-year-old girl causing a disturbance at a school in Auchinleck Road, Cumnock.
“Officers attended and the girl was taken to Crosshouse Hospital to be checked over as a precaution.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
An East Ayrshire Council spokesperson said: "East Ayrshire Council will not be providing any comment on this incident to protect the privacy of the individual concerned."
