PARENTS and carers of pupils at a Cumnock have been warned that they could face a fine for not following parking rules.
A notice was sent on behalf of Lochnorris Primary School reminding drivers that they should not use staff car parks, nor should they use the front entrance to the campus without a permit.
Underwood Road, which runs adjacent to the school, has also been deemed an "extremely unsafe" place to use as a pick-up and drop-off space.
Parents and carers have previously complained about fellow drivers using the entrance to Visions and Cumnock Rugby Club as a drop-off and pick-up spot.
Parking charges were introduced at the Visions Leisure Centre car park towards the end of last year, in a bid to stop drivers who are not using the centre making use of the car park.

The school has sent out a reminder that the Ayr Road car park, on the site of the former Cumnock Academy, should be used to drop kids off and pick them up.
A school spokesperson said: "We would like to remind parents/carers that parking and drop-off should be done at [the] Ayr Road car park.
"Parents should not park/drop off in the staff car park.
"Nor should children be dropped off on Underwood Road. This is extremely unsafe.
"Also, there should be no parking/dropping-off at the front [of the school] without a permit from the school or a blue badge."

It adds: "These spaces are for ASN children and school taxis.
"As a result of unauthorised parking, children with complex needs have been late for school.
"If you have authorisation to park at the front, please only park in designated bays.
"Traffic Police have been and will continue to do spot check and issue fines if need be.
"We appreciate your understanding with this as we all have children's safety in mind."
