Ballochmyle Medical Group is set to take over another practice in East Ayrshire.
The group was formed in 1997 by the merger of the Mauchline and Catrine practices.
Galston Medical Practice released a statement in response to fears from patients that its premises would be closing at the end of next month.

A spokesperson for the Galston practice says its General Medical Services (GMS) contract has been awarded to Ballochmyle Medical Group (BMG).
The takeover is set to become effective from the beginning of April.
A statement from the Galston practice said: "We would like to reassure patients that Galston Medical Practice is not closing on March 31.
"The health board have confirmed that the GMS contract has been awarded to a local GP Practice, Ballochmyle Medical Group (BMG), who currently provide General Medical Services to their Practice population at their sites in Mauchline and Catrine.
"The GPs are delighted to be taking over the Galston contract.
"The new partnership will take over the management of Galston Practice from Tuesday, April 2, 2024, and with it the care of all patients registered at the Practice."

They added: "Patients will receive a letter from the health board in the coming days which will provide more information.
"The primary care management team and senior clinical leadership team will continue to work closely with the new GP partners and the current practice team to support the changeover and help make the transition phase as seamless as possible.
"There will be no interruption in patient access or care and patients should continue to contact the practice in the normal way."
Ballochmyle's Mauchline surgery has undergone building works following a incident at the end of last year which caused damage to practice.
