Plans have been lodged to transform a former church building in Cumnock into a new home.
The former Baptist Church building on Barrhill Road had been listed for sale last year, with an asking price of £90,000.
An application has now been submitted to East Ayrshire Council by Mr Iain Shankland to convert the church into a private dwelling house.
The currently layout of the church includes the large hall, kitchen space, prayer room, study area and storage room.
Plans appear to show that two bedrooms, three bathrooms and a kitchen area would be included.
It also appears as though planners are aiming to retain much of the open hall space in the upgrades.
No objections have yet been raised against the plans.
An application for the property was initially lodged with the local authority in December, and a determination deadline has now been set of Sunday, March 24.
You can view the full application on the East Ayrshire Council website, by searching for application 23/0665/PP.
According to the 'Places of Worship in Scotland' website, the building, constructed in red sandstone, dates back to 1886/87, though it was rebuilt in 1901 and extended in 1910.
A pink sandstone porch was added to the front of the building in the 1970s.
