A Cumnock pub appears to have suddenly closed - just months after it reopened.
The Victoria Inn on The Square was opened in October, after being taken over by Sean Conaghan from Ardrossan and his fiancee Paige Kennedy.
The pub has had a patchy past, having been closed since it was previously The Sun Inn.
After a great opening weekend, the pub appeared to be receiving positive feedback from punters.
Now, metal boarding has been placed over the downstairs windows of the pub, with security warning notices on one door and one window, and a 'For Sale' sign placed on the outside wall.
The sign states that the pub and upper flats are all on sale through commercial property agents Colliers, though there is no listing for the premises yet on Colliers' official website.
The Cumnock Chronicle has attempted to contact the owners of the pub, so far without success.
According to The Victoria Inn Facebook page, the pub is open now.
However, there have been no updates on the page since January 12.
