Mauchline's newest coffee shop is set to open its doors this weekend.
John Bryson has taken over the former Mossgiel Snug coffee shop at The Cross and has transformed it into Aroma At The Cross.
After weeks of hard work and getting things together, the coffee shop is due to open on Saturday, January 27 from 10am to 4pm.
John's 'Aroma' brand is expanding, following the success of two shops in Galston.
After taking over the shop and adding his own touch, John is ready to open and welcome customers from Mauchline and beyond.
Ahead of the opening, John said: "It is an exciting time, mixed with a wee bit of nervousness, because you never know how things will go.
"It does help that this isn't my first time opening a coffee shop, so that helps a lots because I've got some experience of it."
The coffee shop, which is dog friendly, will be getting Coeliac UK accreditation, as well as John looking to cater for a range of dietary requirements.
John added: "We're just going to see how the menu goes, and take it from there.
"I've already had a good bit of feedback from social media about what people might like.
"It's been a bit of a manic week, but I've had great support and my coffee suppliers, We Love Coffee in East Kilbride have been amazing with me again.
"I can't wait to get it open and welcome in the people of Mauchline and beyond."
As an extra boost, John is giving away a free scone to the first 10 customers to Aroma this Saturday.
