New Cumnock Primary School has been given official recognition for its work supporting children with speech, language and communication needs.
The school's pupils and teachers were presented with a commemorative plaque to show the work they've carried out to become a Communication Friendly School.
Pupils Jorja and Paige were delighted to accept the official recognition on behalf of the school.
A New Cumnock Primary School representative said: "We have worked hard as a school over the past 2 years to achieve this status and we are so proud.
"A huge thank you to Mrs Johnstone for leading us on our Communication Friendly journey."
