A DALMELLINGTON woman who brandished blades and threatened members of the public in the final few hours of 2023 has been locked up to await sentence.
Amanda Milligan pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner after the New Year's eve incident in Dalfarson Avenue, Bellsbank.
The 37-year-old admitted shouting and swearing while brandishing knives on December 31.
She also pleaded guilty to making threats of violence during the incident.
Sentencing was deferred for criminal justice social work reports when Milligan, of nearby Ness Glen Road, appeared from custody at Ayr Sheriff Court last week.
Milligan, who was represented by solicitor Colin McLaughlin, was remanded in custody after her application for bail was refused.
She will be brought back to court for sentencing later in the month.
