Though despite the Muirkirk maestro being only hours from playing on the biggest stage in darts - at the Alexandra Palace in London - he was not afforded a day off from his other job.
As well as starring on the PDC tour Menzies also works as a plumber - and he shared snaps on his X (formerly Twitter) account this morning as he worked away on a sink.
"Working before the World's. What a joy," he said, less than nine hours before he is due to take to the stage.
Though it does appear that Cammy has been given some extra time off, as he posted a snap of himself leaving his job shortly after 12pm.
"Plumbing at 11 darts at 8. Finished," he joked.
World Championship sponsors Paddy Power also jumped in on the action - joking that Menzies was at least afforded a half-day.
