DRIVERS are being warned after reports of an accident near the entrance to Dumfries House.
Emergency services are believed to be in attendance at the incident, which happened a short while ago between Cumnock and Ochiltree.
It's understood that the road is currently passable, but drivers are being advised to be cautious.
Information on the incident is limited, but the main entrance to Dumfries House is currently closed off.

Visitors are still able to access the estate via the Dumfries House Lodge entrance.
No injuries have yet been reported.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.50pm on Wednesday, 22 November, 2023, police were called to the A70 at Dumfries House, Cumnock, following a two-vehicle crash.
"Recovery was arranged.”
