The occupants of two vehicles were taken to hospital following a two-car crash near Catrine on Friday morning.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision on the A76 near its junction with the B713 at around 9am on November 17.
Emergency services were spotted at the scene and traffic was diverted for around an hour following the incident.
No details have been released on how many people were taken to hospital, but police have confirmed that occupants from both vehicles were transported for medical attention.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9am on Friday, November 17 we were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A76 near Catrine.
“Emergency services attended and the occupants of both vehicles were taken to hospital to be checked over.
“Recovery was arranged and the road fully reopened around 10am. Enquiries are ongoing.”
