A new speed limit looks set to be put in place for drivers entering Drongan.
Currently, the B730 road between Coalhall and the village is a 'national speed limit' road where a maximum of 60 miles per hour applies.
However, a change will soon be in place that will see that the road changed to a 40mph zone.
The National Speed Limit sign between the A70 and B730 junction will be removed and replaced with a 40mph sign.
Existing speed limit count down markers to 30mph as you enter Drongan will also be removed and will be replaced with new countdown marker signage and posts.
All other surrounding roads' speed limits will remain unaffected by the planned changes.
No official date has been set for when thechange will come into effect.
