Cumnock Factory Outlet has provided a store update following the fire that ravaged the store earlier this year.
The store has been closed since the devastating blaze back in July, when fire ripped through interior parts of the shop and caused "significant damage".
A section of the shop and café building caught fire in the early hours of Saturday, July 22.
Since then, the building has been closed to the public and reopening date set for September 2024.
Many of the fixtures from within the store could be seen in the parking area outdoors, with some fire damage apparent.
The team have since provided a further update to say that rebuild work is now ongoing.
A spokesperson said: "We are delighted to share that the rebuild work has started.
"Thank you all for your patience and we will be sure to keep you all updated as we progress."
Revealing the news about the re-opening date, they added: After months of meetings and planning we now begin the long journey to rebuilding our store.
"As you can see the damage to our store was extensive, however we are pleased to share that yes, the rebuild plans have begun.
