A Cumnock supermarket has been closed today due to apparent flooding in the store.
The Asda store on Townhead Street has been closed off to the public following heavy rainfall during the night and the nearby river rising, causing flooding in the store.
Workers have been at the store since the early hours of this morning, with it hoped that that the store will open later today.
The effect of the flooding can be seen in the supermarket's car park, with branches and debris being washed in from the river.
Heavy rain had been causing issues around the town, with the nearby Dettingen Roundabout being closed off earlier this morning.
However, the roundabout has since re-opened.
An Asda spokesperson said: "“Due to heavy rainfall, our Cumnock store has experienced some flooding.
"As a result, we have closed the store for the time being and are working hard to reopen the store as soon as possible.”
