A roundabout on the outskirts of Cumnock has been re-opened following an earlier closure due to severe weather.
Heavy rain was expected in the area last night, and it had been causing traffic disruption this morning.
Local authority bosses posted that the roundabout between the A76 and A70 had been closed. This is believed to be the Dettingen Roundabout, but it is now open and traffic is able to pass through.
The A70 between Cumnock and Ochiltree was closed off earlier this morning as well. However, this has also since re-opened.
The A70 at Coalhall near Drongan had also been closed earlier this morning, but that is now clear.
East Ayrshire Council have been providing updates on their Facebook page.
This mornings road closure updates: The A70 at Coalhall has been cleared - Ochiltree to Cumnock is now passable with care - the A70 Roseburn Roundabout at the A76 remains closed.
