Clarke decided to take on a challenge for the charity after one of his friends faced struggles with their mental health.
Robbie Muir, founder of Release, was understandably thrilled to receive such a generous donation.
He said: "A huge thank you to Clarke, who has raised an astounding £1,080.70 for Release.
"Inspired by the challenges his friends faced in dealing with their mental health, Clarke embarked on a mission to raise money for a local charity through a fundraising head shave event, which took place at the Boswell Arms in Auchinleck.
"A special thank you to Ian Hoffin, a regular at the Boswell Arms, who generously donated £100 for the very first cut.
"A massive round of applause is due to Josie Scott, who lent her talents as the event's auctioneer, and Diane Houston for skilfully wielding the clippers."
