A man has been treated for facial injuries following an alleged assault in Cumnock.
Police say they were called to the Tanyard area at around 10.30pm on Saturday (October 14).
It's believed that the incident took place close to the Cumnock bus station.

A man was treated at the scene for facial injuries, and police say that they are looking into the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed: “We were made aware of an assault on a man at the Tanyard in Cumnock around 10.30pm on Saturday, 14 October.
“The man was treated at the scene for a facial injury.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
