East Ayrshire Leisure is gearing up for a busy October Week next week.
Scottish novelist Zoe Strachan will be in the Dick Institute event Space at 2pm on Saturday, October 14 celebrating the release of her new book.
BBC Scotland’s ‘Breaking the News’ cast Des Clarke, Raymond Mearns and Stuart Mitchell will be at Palace Theatre in the evening, supported by award- winning Ayrshire comedian and host for the evening, Billy Kirkwood.
Kids can also join the Rangers at Dean Castle Country Park.
On Monday, October 16 you can come along at 2pm and 'Feed The Birds' and make some funky feeders for the feathered friends.
On Tuesday, October 17, you can mix, roll and bake your very own bread with some Bushcraft Bakery – sessions are at 11am and 2pm.
And on Wednesday, October 18 you can become Woodland Witches and Wizards and discover the magic of nature and create your very own wand.
East Ayrshire Leisure is also looking for families to come along and take part in their Maths in Stop Motion Competition this October.
You can take part in Auchinleck Library on Wednesday, October 18 at 10.30am or in The Dick Institute on Thursday, October 19 at 12.30pm.
