A Mauchline street is set to be changed into a one-way road, according to roads bosses.
The Ayrshire Roads Alliance (ARA), who carry out work on the area's roads on behalf of East Ayrshire Council, have said that a one-way traffic flow will be brought into effect on Mansefield Road in Mauchline.
Currently, traffic can travel along the road in both directions - but the tight dimensions of the street have sparked many complaints from locals.
The proposed change will mean traffic can no longer get access to the street from the A76 Earl Grey Street.

Access will only be permitted coming from the B743 Sorn Road and Welton Road, with a junction set to be included along Welton Road where it meets Mansefield Road.
No official date has been set for when this change will take place, with ARA saying that a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) will have to be prepared before the one-way system is implemented.
ARA says a consultation was carried out involving residents, community councillors and elected members, before it was agreed that Mansfield Road would become one-way.
Bosses added that a follow-up public consultation will take place as part of the TRO process.
