A REOPENING date has been announced for a popular Cumnock store after a fire ripped through the premises earlier this year.
The Cumnock Factory Outlet revealed its opening date in a social media post - which also included the first image of the damage caused by the blaze in the summer.
The popular shop has been closed since July, due to a fire that caused "significant damage" to sections of the building's interior.
A section of the shop and café building caught fire in the early hours of Saturday, July 22.
Since then, the building has been closed to the public, with a clean-up operation under way.
Now the team revealed that a "rebuild" has begun - and that the shop will aim to re-open in September 2024.
A spokesperson said said: "After months of meetings and planning we now begin the long journey to rebuilding our store.
"As you can see the damage to our store was extensive, however we are pleased to share that yes, the rebuild plans have begun.
"This may come as a disappointment that our store won’t reopen until September of 2024, but this is required in order to bring back the store you all know and love.
