A new Chinese takeaway is set to open in Cumnock tonight (September 25), at the site of a former favourite.

The new Top Chef will open in the town's Wylie Crescent from 4pm this evening.

Previously the site of the former Grand Garden takeaway, the new eatery is set to be open seven days a week.

Cumnock's Grand Garden closed back in April, with the future of the establishment in doubt.

Now the new team will be looking to build on the popularity of its predecessors.
