A new Greggs store is set to open close to a busy Ayrshire roundabout, with new jobs available.
The new store has been earmarked for the service station close to the Bellfield Interchange, which connects the A77, A76 and A71 roads.
Plans had been approved with East Ayrshire Council back in May for an extension to petrol filling station kiosk building, formation of EV charging hub, formation of car parking spaces and jet wash bays.
A new sign near the petrol station says that a new Greggs store will be coming very soon, however no official date has been confirmed.
The new development will see an extension of the kiosk building, as well as eight new EV charging ports installed.
New jetwash facilities will also been included in the build.
A supporting statement with the planning application reads: "The application proposes a modest extension to the retail kiosk, approximately 92sqm, to be sited on the west elevation of the building.
"This will enable the formation of a new food-to-go area within the extended building, for which food will be sold for consumption off the premises."
The new sign announcing the new Greggs is what has been catching people's eyes.
Anyone interested in applying for a role in the new store can do so by going to the Greggs website.
The two nearest Greggs stores are currently located Glencairn Retail Park, Kilmarnock and in the Burns Shopping Mall in Kilmarnock.
