Events and activities in New Cumnock have been cancelled following the tragic death of a nine-year-old girl on Monday.
Emergency services raced to the scene in the Castle area after a crash between the girl on her bike and a tractor towing a trailer, but she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Tributes have been paid to the girl online, and local groups and organisations have cancelled upcoming events in light of the tragic incident.
The New Cumnock Development Trust has confirmed that its activities for the upcoming week will no longer take place in light of the incident.
A spokesperson said: "In light of the tragic event in our community, all NCDT activities over the coming week are now cancelled."
Glenafton Athletic confirmed that a minute's silence would be held before their next match against Irvine Meadow on Saturday, September 23.
New Cumnock Baptist Church confirmed that its Tuesday Club would not take place on September 19, while Cumnock Juniors Girls FC said all training had been cancelled following the tragedy.
The Yipworld youth project has also confirmed that all its New Cumnock services are postponed until further notice.
New Cumnock Parish Church has also announced that its building will be open on Thursday morning from 11am until midday for prayer or a quiet time.
