A teenager was stopped by police after reports of alleged illegal driving on an East Ayrshire estate.
Police say they have received information of people illegally driving off-road scrambler-type bikes within Craigengilan Estate.
East Ayrshire Locality Policing Team added that they were on patrol when they stopped a 16-year-old boy allegedly on a scrambler within the estate.
Police seized the scrambler and a report is to be sent to the fiscal.
Inspector Lynsey Arthur said "The positive work carried out by the team highlights the strong relationship that we have with the community where we have been informed of numerous similar incidents.
"It is illegal to use this type of off-road bike in a public place without an appropriate document of insurance."
